Limit of Sin x over x 5-10-07
Today's lesson began with a warmup of limits as taken from a graph. We then reviewed worksheet #6, the homework from 5-8. After reviewing the answers and problems of concern, the students worked in groups on 10 problems on the back side of the warmup worksheet. Once all questions and concerns were clarified, we began the new notes on the Limit as x approaches 0 of (sin x)/x (click here for notes and examples). We reviewed 6 examples and then the students finished the worksheet #6 #11, 19-23 pertaining to sines and cosines. The remainder of the class was spent working on the homework worksheet.
