Today's lesson begins by going over the ellipse and circle homework.  The class then took a homework quiz (not on the pod cast) based on the ellipse and circle homework.  The focus for the day is hyperbolas with an emphasis on the general form of all conics.  After 3 review problems on hyperbolas, the class discussed the general form and ended class working problems from the note hand-out.  The homework is a worksheet on hyperbolas as well as to study for the large quiz on all conics using the general form.
