Limits as x approaches infinity 5-8-07
Today's lesson was the completion of the notes from 5-6-07. The class began with a review of the polar quiz (not on the pod cast). We then went over the homework found on page 750 and 760 prior to the homework quiz. Upon finishing the homework quiz, we studied the last page of the note handout given on 5-6 regarding th`e limit as "x" approaches infinity (click here for notes). Several examples were done in class from the handout. We then compared several general rules for limits and completed the handout with 10 examples of all types. The homework was then passed out in worksheet form. Problems to be excluded from the worksheet include #11, 20-23. Those problems will be completed in class as examples to 5-10 lecture.
